Have you felt that the mental healthcare system has failed you when you needed help? Do you continue trying to make changes despite setbacks, looking for professional help that will provide the validation, understanding, and understanding to aid in effectively problem solving the stressors of life? My goal is to help reach those who feel this way and work towards establishing a life less weighed down by problems that feel insurmountable, and shifting focus towards finding meaning, purpose, and connection to what is most important to you.
While I continually feel the personal frustration in the early stages of treatment from people seeking therapy due to an overall lack of progress towards resolving the problems they want help with, it is my responsibility to help move beyond symptom management and past problem resolution, to effectively establish more meaning and purpose in your life.
My areas of specialty include severe and persistent mental illness, chronic mental health conditions, substance use and behavioral addictions, and those who have had limited success with psychotherapeutic treatment approaches in the past. Further, I have experience with individuals who have undergone psychedelic therapeutic interventions (i.e., ketamine), severe trauma, and chronic suicidality, areas that individuals have told me has made establishing strong therapeutic rapport in treatment for consistent addressing of complex psychological concerns.
My priority in clinical practice is to provide structure, support, and challenge through person-centered and strengths-based interventions. Establishing a strong foundation of trust, non-judgement, and autonomy in the therapeutic relationship is essential to effectively address the impacts on your life from mental health concerns. Additional approaches that I integrate through my primary humanistic/existential therapeutic orientation include use of root-cause analysis, motivational interviewing, internal family systems, and ACT-based value processing.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds, gender identities, ages 12 and older, individuals, families, and couples. I also have additional specialized experience working with professionals and athletes.

I believe that the challenges we face in life can be powerful turning points—moments that help us grow, heal, and rediscover our strength. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or wondering if you are “broken,” please know that you’re not alone—and there is hope. I offer compassionate, evidence-based support to help you navigate life’s difficulties to help you find your way to a life where you can truly thrive.
I work collaboratively with clients using a strengths-based approach to provide compassionate care for adults of all backgrounds and identities. I offer a safe, supportive space where healing can take place—especially for those carrying the wounds of sexual abuse, childhood trauma, domestic violence, spiritual or religious harm, and emotional abuse. I also enjoy working with clients struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, worry, chronic pain and other health issues, life transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem and self-worth, OCD, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, personal boundaries, and relationships.
My goal is to meet my clients where they are and help them create lives they find meaningful and more aligned with who they are and what they want. To do this, I use evidence-based therapy approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other evidence-based trauma approaches. I completed training for my doctorate at Spalding University in Louisville, KY. Through my training and beyond, I’ve been honored to work with amazing clients in several settings, including community mental health, a psychiatric in-patient hospital, college counseling centers, private practices, and an organization focused on providing trauma therapy to survivors of mass violence, sexual assault, and interpersonal/domestic violence. I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside my clients through their growth and healing journeys.

Life can be hard, but you do not have to navigate it alone. In an ever-changing world, I find it increasingly important to provide collaborative care, guided by evidence-based assessments and treatments, to individuals and families who are struggling with mood concerns, developmental transitions, and interpersonal issues both within and outside of the family unit. I take an integrated and collaborative approach to care. Every person is unique, and I believe treatment should always be tailored to your needs and circumstances. At the core of my approach is my emphasis on meeting clients where they are and providing the resources, strategies, and techniques needed to help them get where they want to be.
I offer expertise in helping clients with mood concerns (such as anxiety and depression), obsessive compulsive concerns (OCD), interpersonal and social issues, stressful life transitions, and parent-driven concerns. I help clients experiencing anxiety and depression improve their mood through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I specialize in Exposure-Focused CBT (EF-CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for clients with obsessive and compulsive tendencies who want to take back control of their lives.
For clients experiencing interpersonal or social challenges, I also offer communication and socioemotional coaching with a focus on social problem solving and decision making. Having worked with individuals across the lifespan, including children, teenagers, young adults, adults, and parents, I understand the many transitions that arise throughout life, such as school changes, work demands, career shifts, and developmental changes.
I can help clients make sense of these transitions and create action plans that reflect Motivational Interviewing (MI) and ACT approaches. I also bring expertise in guiding parents through managing disruptive behaviors in their children through Parent Management Training (PMT), with a focus on parent-led behavioral interventions.
I pride myself on creating a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and supported in making meaningful changes. I believe everyone has an innate ability to grow, and my role is to help you and your family harness that potential through compassionate, research-informed care.

Feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or weighed down by life’s challenges? Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or substance use, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. Many people carry invisible burdens that quietly affect their relationships, confidence, and sense of peace. Therapy offers a safe, compassionate space to unpack those struggles, gain clarity, and move toward lasting change.
As someone who has experienced life’s highs and lows, I deeply respect the courage it takes to face difficult situations with openness and a growth-oriented mindset. I strive to bring that same authenticity and empathy into every session.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed modalities including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and EMDR. Together, we’ll explore the deeper patterns, beliefs, and barriers that keep you stuck—while building practical tools for emotional resilience and personal growth.
In therapy, I emphasize a structured yet flexible approach—tailored to meet you where you are. I draw from multiple modalities to create personalized treatment plans that are both efficient and empowering. My goal is not only to help you reach your therapy objectives but also to equip you with lifelong skills so that you can continue your growth independently. Handouts, skill practice, and between-session reflection often help deepen this process.
I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Fresno, California. Over the last three years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse individuals across a wide range of settings, including Veterans Affairs (VA), community mental health, crisis intervention, psychiatric inpatient, and residential substance-use treatment programs.
If you’re ready to take the first step toward change, I invite you to reach out. You don’t have to face this journey alone—healing starts with a conversation.
