Dr. Kay Huang

Are you worried that your child is struggling with attention, learning, self-regulation, or social communication? Perhaps you have been wondering whether ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or another neurodevelopmental difference could explain the challenges your child is experiencing at home, at school, or in relationships. Maybe your child feels anxious, overwhelmed, frustrated, withdrawn, or has difficulty managing emotions, friendships, or academic stress.

Adolescents and young adults often face similar challenges, including anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, identity development, relationship concerns, academic pressures, and life transitions. Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child or a young adult navigating these issues yourself, it can be hard to know where to begin.

I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, young adults, and families gain clarity, build on their strengths, and create lasting positive change. I provide comprehensive evaluations for ADHD, ASD, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), as well as therapy for anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, relationships, and life transitions.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Family Therapy to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, manage emotions, improve relationships, and feel more confident.

I welcome children, adolescents, college students, young adults, and families from all backgrounds. I have specialized experience supporting individuals with ADHD, ASD, executive functioning challenges, and family concerns. As a bilingual provider, I offer services in both English and Mandarin Chinese and strive to provide culturally responsive care.
