If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward—you’re not alone, and you’re in the right place. I’m a therapist who works with teens, young adults, families, and couples navigating a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I take a trauma-informed approach, always honoring each client’s unique story, strengths, and challenges. I believe that meaningful change starts with a strong therapeutic relationship, so I put great care into creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and truly supported. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I use evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs to help you build skills, clarify your values, and take action toward the life you want. Whether we’re working on managing emotions, improving focus, setting healthy boundaries, or problem-solving, our work will always center around what matters most to you. When working with teens, I partner closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance and tools to support their child’s growth while aiming to reduce stress at home.
I have worked as a school psychologist, supporting students, families, and educators within the school system. That experience, along with my work in rehabilitation centers and community mental health settings, has given me a deep and nuanced understanding of the complex challenges teens and young adults face today. I approach therapy through an ecological systems framework, which means I don’t view symptoms in isolation. Instead, I explore how each individual is shaped by the many interconnected systems around them—family, peers, schools, communities, and broader cultural and societal forces. This perspective allows me to identify not only where distress may originate, but also where resilience, support, and opportunities for meaningful change can emerge. At the heart of this approach is a recognition that relationships are central to human well-being. Whether nurturing or strained, our connections have a profound impact on our daily lives and long-term growth. By attending to both internal experiences and external influences, I help clients develop insight, access their strengths, and create sustainable change within their real-world contexts. My goal is to help young people feel seen and empowered, while also equipping families with the tools to foster growth, understanding, and flexibility together.
Whether it’s a teen struggling with focus and motivation, a young adult facing life transitions, parents needing support, or couples working to strengthen their connection, I bring a supportive, down-to-earth approach that focuses on building trust, fostering resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
If you’re looking for a space that balances insight with action and empathy with encouragement, I’d be honored to be part of your journey. To learn more about the areas I support, please visit our Treatments page.
