Nowlogy™ was founded on October 13, 2024 by Amelia Paquin, PhD, LP, CEO in conjunction with Abhay Joshi, B.Tech, MS, MBA, CFO, CSO to provide opportunities to others to open franchises after the parent company, Psychology Express, Inc. opened four successful practices from 2017-2024. It initially started with just one psychologist, Dr. Paquin in 2017.
Disaffected by the “factory mentality” of treating customers in clinics and hospitals that focused on productivity over quality and innovation, Dr. Paquin decided to start a hybrid telehealth and in person clinic. Not long after opening the Hastings clinic, other disaffected providers reached out to the clinic, asking if they could join Dr. Paquin in the group practice. From there, Psychology Express took off.
Following the pandemic of 2020-2021, Dr. Paquin opened a second clinic in Woodbury/Lake Elmo, MN. In 2022, the Eagan, MN clinic opened. In 2023, Marketing and Business Manager, Gabriella, joined the team to grow our name, reputation, and customers. In 2024, we opened the first out of state corporate clinic in the Houston, TX area.
At the end of 2024, we began offering Nowlogy™ franchise clinics. In February 2025 we opened the first franchise clinic in Northfield, MN as well as an additional corporate clinic in St. Paul, MN. Additional expansions continue throughout 2025 including other clinics in Texas.
PhD | Licensed Psychologist
Life is about living, not coping, not managing symptoms. That is my mission: to help people I work with get unstuck so they can live life again. As a psychology superfan, I am excited about teaching individuals about psychology, the science, and how that science can help you live more fully. I work to tailor effective psychology treatments to each person’s unique needs and situations. With intentional listening, I work to incorporate psychology, education, and skills into each conversation, drawing from your interests, hobbies, and values. I especially love working with people who have complex health concerns and those individuals who have felt dismissed, judged, or “gaslit” by other (usually) well intentioned medical specialists.
People who would benefit from working with me tend to be juggling health and life, with distressing physical symptoms holding them back. I am direct and straightforward in my clinical style. I enjoy working with individuals who experience chronic pain or primary pain disorder, POTS, Ehlers-Danlos, headaches, migraines, and Disorders of the Gut Brain Interaction, to name a few. Along my almost 15 years of clinical practice, I have gotten extra training in CBT, ACT, clinical hypnosis, and biofeedback. I fuse humor, practicality, and meaning making into sessions that are direct, symptom focused, and educational. I provide in person services for individuals within the greater Minneapolis (Minnesota) metro area, and I also can work with you over telehealth. I have even found ways to engage some kids (6+) in a virtual room!
In my work in Pediatric Psychology and Health Psychology, I teach individuals, kids and adults, who have health concerns how to retrain their nervous system to feel better. I help people sleep more soundly by creating customized sleep routines and meditation recordings. Focusing on values and ways to be in this moment, I can help you feel less stressed and more present in the day to day. Our brains try really hard to keep us safe, and sometimes they overreact, causing anxiety. I connect education about why anxiety happens with humor to help you feel better, and more calm.
CBT is the superhero of psychology. It is proven to help overcome the most frustrating symptoms and diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, sleep concerns, and pain by teaching people how to change thoughts, actions, and our body’s energy responses. ACT is useful to recenter on personal values in order to overcome obstacles that stand in our way of living. Learning to daydream on purpose to work on a deeper relaxation response is what self hypnosis is all about. It is a deeper form of imagery and meditation, one that can help make connections internally to achieve an even deeper relaxation response which is useful for pain and stress management. Biofeedback based relaxation training is seeing how your body’s energy changes when you practice calming.
I welcome clients of all backgrounds and especially enjoy working with those managing complex health needs, chronic symptoms, or feeling unheard in medical settings. Whether in person or over telehealth, I look forward to helping you reclaim a fuller, calmer, more meaningful life.

Do you wish you could find the support you need to overcome your difficulties and live up to your full potential? Do you wish that for your child? Do you want to be the parent who provides that support? Do you wish your family could offer a healthier and more nurturing environment for each person’s growth and happiness?
I am Marie-Gabrielle Reed, Ph.D., a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Minnesota (soon expanding my ability to practice in other states). After several years working as a social worker in France, I obtained a dual-specialty Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology and Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota. I have a decade of academic research experience on stress, adversity, and resilience, three decades of clinical experience, and over one decade serving as a psychological expert for various courts. I have practiced in clinics, hospitals, and private practice, providing diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations for children, parents, and adults. I have supported people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic health problems, behavioral challenges, neurodevelopmental differences such as autism and ADHD, school and developmental struggles, relationship challenges, minority stress, and more.
As a developmental psychologist, I keep in mind the developmental trajectories of both adults and children. By looking into the past and the present for sources of pain and resilience, we work together to free you from what has held you back, and propel you forward as your healthier self. My work includes supporting expecting and new parents, helping them navigate the earliest stages of their child’s life. I offer psychodynamic play therapy to preverbal and preschool children, including those struggling with trauma and attachment wounds, as symbolic play often provides profound corrective experiences. I also love working with school-age children, teenagers, and adults, whether they are challenged by, for instance, stress, chronic pain, depressive symptoms, generalized anxiety, phobias, OCD, school transitions, underachievement, divorce or family changes, low self-esteem, identity challenges, psychosis, or PTSD/C-PTSD. I can diagnose, treat, and be your partner in building resilience.
My approach to therapy is to understand you as a whole person and collaborate on finding and implementing effective solutions tailored to your needs. I draw from behavioral, cognitive, psychodynamic, mind-body, and systemic approaches, integrating these methods based on your history, preferences, and goals.

Feeling overwhelmed with new life stressors or stuck trying to navigate a longstanding problem? You are not alone and change is very possible. I use evidence-based assessments and treatments to help you navigate concerns such as anxiety, trauma, substance use, and relationship problems in order to live the life you want to lead. Collaboration and integration are at the forefront of my approach to therapy, as I believe you are the expert on your life and goals, and I’m here to help provide the tools and nonjudgmental support to aid you, tailored to your individual needs.
I routinely utilize evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused interventions such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Exposure Responsive Prevention (ERP), and Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Couples therapy approaches such as (BCT and IBCT). CBT helps you challenge negative thoughts to improve mood and build confidence. CPT, PE, and TF-CBT are trauma-focused treatments that help you process and heal from trauma through addressing negative beliefs and challenging avoidance associated with traumatic experiences. In IPT, you learn to reduce depressive symptoms and navigate life transitions through building social connections and interpersonal coping skills. BCT and IBCT are couples-based therapy approaches that help you foster strong communication, emotional connection, and problem-solving skills.
Whether you are new to therapy or returning after a break, I am here to walk alongside you with compassion, skill, and sometimes a little humor to help you feel comfortable and hopeful about the journey ahead.

Life can throw many unexpected challenges our way, and you are not alone in facing them. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward in your personal or professional life, therapy offers a warm, collaborative, and compassionate space to recognize and unpack your struggles, empowering you to make meaningful changes.
I provide a non-judgmental, client-centered, and collaborative therapeutic environment where you can explore the narratives you carry and work toward your goals. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities, offering affirming and culturally conscious care to BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those navigating a range of life circumstances. I draw on a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to create personalized plans that foster emotional growth, resilience, and empowerment. As someone who has personally navigated life’s challenges, I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I am particularly passionate and experienced in providing services to young adults navigating a wide range of life circumstances. Whether you an experiencing a significant life transition, questioning your path in life, wanting to explore, become more confident, and affirmed in your identity, or are managing pre-existed mental health concerns that make the stressors of day-to-day life difficult I am here to help. Using evidence-based practices including ACT and narrative therapy techniques, we will explore your story, values, and identity to help connect you with and move you towards a personally fulfilling and meaningful life.
I am deeply committed to the treatment of trauma and helping those who have experienced traumatic events reestablish a sense of safety and empowerment in their lives. This includes the treatment of PTSD and complex PTSD using evidence-based treatments such as CPT and stage oriented integrated therapy. In these approaches we will focus on establishing a sense of safety and develop effective skills to manage the painful emotions, memories, and body sensations that trauma can cause. Using these skills for stabilization, we can work to process traumatic memories with the goal of remembrance, mourning, and integration into our life story, leading to empowered reconnection with ourselves, others, and the world.
In addition, I provide specialized support for those experiencing grief and loss. The loss of a loved one can shatter our lives and make it difficult to put the pieces back together. I am dedicated to serving those who are experiencing difficulties with grief, bereavement, and mourning. Using evidence-based treatments from Robert Niemeyer’s tripartite model of meaning reconstruction, we will help explore your unique story of grief and loss to better understand how the loss has affected you, your relationship with the deceased, others, and the world. Together, we will work to find new meaning, maintain healthy connections with your loved ones, and rebuild your identity.
I graduated from Adler University’s APA accredited Clinical Psy.D. program and completed my doctoral internship at Northwestern University’s Counseling and Psychological Services. Through my training, I gained experience working with young adults from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate a wide range of emotional, relational, and personal challenges. My approach is always tailored to your unique needs, creating a safe and supportive space for growth and healing.
If any of the above resonates with you, I’d be honored to discuss how we can work together to support your journey toward well-being.

Dr. Tamy (Tin May) Lin is a Clinical Psychologist who provides integrative, culturally responsive therapy to adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, identity concerns, and relational challenges. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion, emphasizing both emotional depth and practical growth. Dr. Lin believes that meaningful change begins with a safe and authentic relationship—one where clients feel deeply understood, valued, and supported as they explore their inner world and the systems that shape them.
Dr. Lin takes a holistic approach to mental health, viewing each person as more than a collection of symptoms. She considers how experiences of family, culture, identity, community, and the body intersect to influence emotional well-being. Through this lens, therapy becomes a process of integration—helping clients reconnect with parts of themselves that may have been silenced, shamed, or overlooked, while also identifying the external patterns that sustain distress. Her work invites curiosity and self-compassion, encouraging clients to move from self-criticism toward balance, resilience, and a greater sense of wholeness.
Her clinical approach blends psychodynamic understanding with evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She integrates mindfulness and values-based interventions to help clients navigate discomfort, deepen insight, and take meaningful action aligned with their goals.
Dr. Lin earned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, and has trained in diverse settings including university counseling centers (UCLA and the University of San Francisco), community mental health clinics, and integrated psychiatry services such as Kaiser Permanente.
Through her work in university, community, and medical settings, Dr. Lin has developed a skill set that combines evidence-based tools with a deep appreciation for what lies beneath the surface. Rather than applying temporary fixes, she aims to help clients uncover and repair the core emotional wounds that keep them feeling stuck, fostering lasting growth and self-understanding.
At the core of her work is a belief that healing happens through connection—to self, to others, and to one’s environment. Dr. Lin strives to help clients rediscover that sense of connection by fostering groundedness, authenticity, and belonging in both their inner and outer worlds. She understands that beginning therapy can feel both hopeful and intimidating, and she works to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout the process. Together, you’ll explore what’s holding you back, strengthen resilience, and develop practical strategies for building a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. If this resonates, Dr. Lin would be honored to connect with you and take the next step forward.

If you’re feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or just unsure of what you need—therapy can help you start again with intention. I work with clients navigating the pressures of high expectations—whether from within or the outside world. Many are young adults, first-generation professionals, high-achieving students, or BIPOC individuals striving to succeed while staying true to themselves.
I also offer executive coaching for clients seeking greater clarity, confidence, and balance in their professional and personal lives. My coaching approach is grounded in helping individuals reconnect with their core values—those foundational beliefs that shape who they are and how they lead. By aligning their decisions and actions with these values, clients are empowered to create more meaningful, purpose-driven lives and careers.
With a diverse background in coaching leaders across various functions and organizational levels—ranging from emerging managers to middle-managers in both for-profit and non-profit sectors—I bring a nuanced understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with leadership. My coaching sessions provide a supportive, reflective space where clients can slow down, process their experiences, and explore new possibilities. Together, we focus not only on professional growth but also on personal healing, helping individuals navigate transitions, overcome obstacles, and move forward with greater resilience and authenticity.
Areas of focus often include strengthening emotional intelligence, improving communication and conflict resolution skills, developing executive presence, navigating career transitions, setting healthy boundaries, and managing stress and burnout. We also work on cultivating a leadership style that feels both effective and authentic—one that’s grounded in self-awareness, aligned with values, and responsive to the complex demands of today’s workplaces.
Therapeutically, my style is warm, direct, and action-oriented. I draw on a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to develop personalized plans that help you understand what’s holding you back and build practical strategies to move forward. Feeling stuck in life or anxious about facing new challenges? As humans, we are all scared to embrace change when we do not know what to expect. Whether you’re starting college, navigating early parenthood, adjusting to an empty nest, or simply facing a change that feels too big to manage alone, therapy can help you find steadiness in the chaos.
I work with people of all ages, races, and genders, and I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals during life transitions that challenge identity, purpose, and routine. As well as supporting individuals during pre-pregnancy, the perinatal period, post-pregnancy loss, and postpartum. These phases of life bring about unique challenges and pose questions many people have not yet considered. Using evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and existential approaches, I help clients manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, life transitions, trauma, and stress by building on existing strengths, uncovering unhelpful patterns, and developing realistic tools for growth.
In therapy, I also help clients learn evidence-based strategies to better manage the emotional impact of chronic pain. We focus on reducing stress, improving coping skills, and finding ways to reconnect with the parts of life that bring meaning and joy. Together, we work on restoring hope, pacing energy, and building resilience so that you can feel more in control, even when your body feels unpredictable. Chronic pain may change how you move through the world, but it does not have to define the fullness of your life.
Living with chronic pain is not just about physical discomfort- it affects every area of life, from your energy and mood to your sense of identity and independence. Many of my clients live with conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, migraines, back pain, or autoimmune disorders. These challenges can feel isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming, especially when others don’t fully understand the invisible weight you carry each day.

Life can be hard, but you do not have to navigate it alone. In an ever-changing world, I find it increasingly important to provide collaborative care, guided by evidence-based assessments and treatments, to individuals and families who are struggling with mood concerns, developmental transitions, and interpersonal issues both within and outside of the family unit. I take an integrated and collaborative approach to care. Every person is unique, and I believe treatment should always be tailored to your needs and circumstances. At the core of my approach is my emphasis on meeting clients where they are and providing the resources, strategies, and techniques needed to help them get where they want to be.
I offer expertise in helping clients with mood concerns (such as anxiety and depression), obsessive compulsive concerns (OCD), interpersonal and social issues, stressful life transitions, and parent-driven concerns. I help clients experiencing anxiety and depression improve their mood through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I specialize in Exposure-Focused CBT (EF-CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for clients with obsessive and compulsive tendencies who want to take back control of their lives.
For clients experiencing interpersonal or social challenges, I also offer communication and socioemotional coaching with a focus on social problem solving and decision making. Having worked with individuals across the lifespan, including children, teenagers, young adults, adults, and parents, I understand the many transitions that arise throughout life, such as school changes, work demands, career shifts, and developmental changes.
I can help clients make sense of these transitions and create action plans that reflect Motivational Interviewing (MI) and ACT approaches. I also bring expertise in guiding parents through managing disruptive behaviors in their children through Parent Management Training (PMT), with a focus on parent-led behavioral interventions.
I pride myself on creating a safe, affirming, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and supported in making meaningful changes. I believe everyone has an innate ability to grow, and my role is to help you and your family harness that potential through compassionate, research-informed care

I believe that the challenges we face in life can be powerful turning points—moments that help us grow, heal, and rediscover our strength. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or wondering if you are “broken,” please know that you’re not alone—and there is hope. I offer compassionate, evidence-based support to help you navigate life’s difficulties to help you find your way to a life where you can truly thrive.
I work collaboratively with clients using a strengths-based approach to provide compassionate care for adults of all backgrounds and identities. Rooted in a strengths-based approach, I offer a safe, supportive space where healing can take place—especially for those carrying the wounds of sexual abuse, childhood trauma, domestic violence, spiritual or religious harm, and emotional abuse. I also enjoy working with clients struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, worry, chronic pain and other health issues, life transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem and self-worth, OCD, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, personal boundaries, and relationships.
My goal is to meet my clients where they are and help them create lives they find meaningful and more aligned with who they are and what they want. To do this, I use evidence-based therapy approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and other evidence-based trauma approaches.
I completed my training at Spalding University in Louisville, KY, where I am currently a Psy.D candidate. I will be awarded a Psy.D upon the successful defense of my dissertation in late 2025. I’ve been honored to work with amazing clients in several settings, including community mental health, a psychiatric in-patient hospital, college counseling centers, private practices, and an organization focused on providing trauma therapy to survivors of mass violence, sexual assault, and interpersonal/domestic violence. I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside my clients through their growth and healing journeys.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward—you’re not alone, and you’re in the right place. I’m a therapist who works with teens, young adults, families, and couples navigating a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I take a trauma-informed approach, always honoring each client’s unique story, strengths, and challenges. I believe that meaningful change starts with a strong therapeutic relationship, so I put great care into creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and truly supported. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I use evidence-based strategies tailored to your needs to help you build skills, clarify your values, and take action toward the life you want. Whether we’re working on managing emotions, improving focus, setting healthy boundaries, or problem-solving, our work will always center around what matters most to you. When working with teens, I partner closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance and tools to support their child’s growth while aiming to reduce stress at home.
I have worked as a school psychologist, supporting students, families, and educators within the school system. That experience, along with my work in rehabilitation centers and community mental health settings, has given me a deep and nuanced understanding of the complex challenges teens and young adults face today. I approach therapy through an ecological systems framework, which means I don’t view symptoms in isolation. Instead, I explore how each individual is shaped by the many interconnected systems around them—family, peers, schools, communities, and broader cultural and societal forces. This perspective allows me to identify not only where distress may originate, but also where resilience, support, and opportunities for meaningful change can emerge. At the heart of this approach is a recognition that relationships are central to human well-being. Whether nurturing or strained, our connections have a profound impact on our daily lives and long-term growth. By attending to both internal experiences and external influences, I help clients develop insight, access their strengths, and create sustainable change within their real-world contexts. My goal is to help young people feel seen and empowered, while also equipping families with the tools to foster growth, understanding, and flexibility together.
Whether it’s a teen struggling with focus and motivation, a young adult facing life transitions, parents needing support, or couples working to strengthen their connection, I bring a supportive, down-to-earth approach that focuses on building trust, fostering resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
If you’re looking for a space that balances insight with action and empathy with encouragement, I’d be honored to be part of your journey. To learn more about the areas I support, please visit our Treatments page.

Feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or weighed down by life’s challenges?
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or substance use, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. Many people carry invisible burdens that quietly affect their relationships, confidence, and sense of peace. Together, we’ll explore the deeper patterns, beliefs, and barriers that keep you stuck—while building practical tools for emotional resilience and personal growth.
In therapy, I emphasize a structured yet flexible approach—tailored to meet you where you are. I draw from multiple modalities to create personalized treatment plans that are both efficient and empowering. My goal is not only to help you reach your therapy objectives but also to equip you with lifelong skills so that you can continue your growth independently. Handouts, skill practice, and between-session reflection often help deepen this process.
I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Fresno, California. Over the last three years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse individuals across a wide range of settings, including Veterans Affairs (VA), community mental health, crisis intervention, psychiatric inpatient, and residential substance-use treatment programs.

Seeking out therapy is often an intimidating undertaking. Whether you are new to therapy or returning after a break, sharing your story with someone new can be emotionally difficult. I want to commend you for taking this step and caring enough about your well-being to seek support. I strive to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood.
My approach is grounded in developing a strong therapeutic relationship and understanding how past experiences, relationships, and societal influences impact your current life. I typically recommend weekly sessions to build rapport and make meaningful progress. Less frequent meetings can make it harder to build on previous insights and create momentum.
I earned my PhD from the University of Detroit Mercy and completed my internship at the Indian Health Care Resource Center in Tulsa, OK. I’m originally from Houston and enjoy working with teens and adults facing anxiety, depression, school/work stress, and more. I’m committed to providing inclusive, culturally aware care to clients from all backgrounds.

Dr. Emily P. Sander is a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered mental health care to individuals of all ages. Dr. Sander utilizes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, pulling from a variety of therapeutic styles to meet the individual needs of each client, couple, or family. While she employs evidence-based treatments including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and dialectical behavioral (DBT) therapies, approaches are not limited to these alone. Dr. Sander strongly believes that treatment must be tailored to each client’s needs and with a respect for the diverse backgrounds and life experiences of each individual. She is also equipped for Psychological First Aid (PFA) treatments.
Dr. Sander is particularly passionate about the treatment of trauma and helping those who have faced traumatic experiences restore a sense of safety and wellbeing in their lives. This includes treatment of PTSD, complex PTSD, and attachment trauma using EMDR therapy as the foundation for healing. Additionally, EMDR therapy can be a powerful tool in addressing other mental health concerns that have roots in painful past experiences, such as symptoms of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, phobias, and chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia. Dr. Sander is also trained in animal assisted psychotherapy and is in the process of developing a novel animal assisted trauma therapy intervention where animal co-therapists work alongside the provider as supports for healing.
For those seeking more rapid resolution to traumatic experiences Dr. Sander provides EMDR Intensive Treatment. EMDR Intensive Treatment is ideal for those who want to make a significant amount of progress in a much shorter timeframe. While EMDR therapy delivered in a traditional, weekly therapy format is highly effective, it may require several treatment sessions over weeks or months to achieve treatment goals. Intensive treatment offers the chance for more rapid resolution of trauma on a condensed schedule. Visit our EMDR Intensive Treatment page for more information.
In addition to therapy work, Dr. Sander is skilled in the completion of psychological and psycho-educational assessment.
