Therapy Dog
Clark is a rescue dog with a big heart and an even bigger love for pets. He works alongside Cory Johnson and brings support to clients. His specialties include stress relief, companionship, and making everyone smile. Fun fact! Clark is related to Betty, who is a Nowlogy™ therapy dog!

Cory Johnson is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who believes in the fundamental importance of mental health care for all individuals. He has developed a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and experiences that shape individuals’ mental well-being.
After years of working as an emergency department and mental health nurse, Cory pursued further education and training to become a PMHNP, driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Throughout his academic journey, he focused on a strong commitment to understanding the complexities of mental health and honing his skills in diagnosis, treatment, and therapy.
Cory creates a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals from all walks of life. He firmly believes in the importance of cultural competence and actively seeks to understand and respect each person’s unique background, values, and beliefs. He tailors his approach to meet the specific needs and preferences of each individual, fostering trust and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship.
Cory recognizes the connection between physical, emotional, and social factors in overall well-being. He is dedicated to empowering his patients to actively participate in their own care, providing education, support, and resources to promote long-term mental wellness. He also recognizes the importance of prioritizing mental health equity and inclusion. He continues to strive for excellence in his practice by staying informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care and maintaining a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Beyond his clinical practice, Cory enjoys camping, music, snowboarding, spending time with family, friends and his dog Clark.

Andrea Somers is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience caring for children, adolescents, and young adults. Her practice focuses on addressing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and adjustment disorders. Andrea emphasizes a thoughtful, personalized approach to treatment, integrating medication management and collaboration with families to support her patients’ well-being.
Andrea’s professional background includes work across inpatient and outpatient settings, such as Gillette Children’s Specialty Hospital and Eagan Valley Pediatrics. She is credentialed as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota and has consistently prioritized building effective, trusting relationships with patients, their families, and healthcare teams.
Andrea completed a post-master’s psychiatric nurse practitioner certification at St. Catherine University, allowing her to bring both her practical medical experience and a commitment to lifelong learning to her psychiatric practice. Andrea provides supportive, patient-centered care that helps young people navigate their mental health goals and build resilience.
