Because of the many challenges with reimbursement for mental health from insurance plans, we accept a limited number of insurance plans.
Clients with out of network insurance are welcome in our clinic. However, clients pay up front for costs and receive receipts/documentation to submit on their own to insurance if seeking reimbursement.

We do NOT accept any Medicare plans and most Medicaid plans.
Texas Medicaid plans are not in-network at this time.
Most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, HealthPartners, CIGNA, United Healthcare, America’s PPO, Aetna, Oscar, and Optum. In TX, we accept commercial Moda plans.
Always verify with your insurance company if our clinic is in network.
Please note, accepted insurances change over time depending on whether the contracted rates of reimbursement cover the cost of services.
If you wish to use your insurance plan that is not in-network with us (e.g., UCARE, etc.), you will be responsible for paying your bill. We will issue you a “superbill” which you can send to your insurer to request reimbursement.
Many clients choose to self-pay for their services. We are able to process payments using HSA cards and do provide a significant discount to those who choose to self-pay.
We also offer subscription-based services for a self-pay discount. Please inquire for our prices.

Payment is due at the time of service. If insurance is used, your card on file will be charged after insurance has processed – this includes your deductible or copay due. Check with your insurance if you are unsure of what this is or review your explanation of benefits from the visit. We are not privy to the details of your insurance plan.
There is a $50 fee for non-sufficient funds transactions. Additional fees may be charged if collections are required to recoup a debt.
Treat your appointment like a ticket to an event. If you do not show, the full cost of your appointment will automatically be charged (you still paid for the time). The same is true for appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice. If you attend your appointment late and the full amount cannot be charged, you may be responsible to cover the portion not covered by your insurance. This is how our doctors get paid so we enforce strict policies around this. Insurance will not cover costs of cancellation or late charges. Please note, different rules apply to Medicaid patients – instead of a fee, you will be referred elsewhere if you have 2 late cancels or no shows within the same 52-week time frame.
