What Is DBT-A?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A) is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed specifically for teens.
How It Can Help
• Learning DBT skills and processing emotions skills
• Building emotional balance and resilience
• Reducing impulsive or self-destructive behaviors
• Improving communication and relationships
• Increasing confidence, mindfulness, and coping skills
• Creating a supportive community of peers who “get it”
Core Skills Teens Will Learn
• Mindfulness: Staying present and grounded
• Emotion Regulation: Understanding and managing strong emotions
• Distress Tolerance: Coping with stress and crisis without making things worse
• Interpersonal Effectiveness: Building healthy, respectful relationships
Group Details
• Structure: Includes both skills training and a process component, giving teens space to share experiences, express themselves, and learn from one another
• Ages: 13 to 18

Designed to help clients feel more in control of their emotions, improve their relationships, and navigate stress with confidence and skill rather than focus on processing emotions in the moment. This class teaches practical tools you can use right away to feel more grounded and empowered.

• Communicate needs and set healthy boundaries
• Respond to emotions instead of reacting to them
• Build confidence in relationships and daily life
In each class, you will:
• Practice simple mindfulness strategies
• Learn DBT skills step‑by‑step
• Discuss real‑life applications
• Leave with tools you can use immediately

• Format: Weekly group meetings in a 12-week class format. New clients may join every 3 weeks.
• Ages: 18+
• Location: 7616 Currell Boulevard, Woodbury, MN 55125 (Lower Conference Room)
• Time: Every Wednesday at 6:30pm – 7:30pm (NOT STARTED YET – ENROLLMENT PERIOD)
• Cost: $300/month subscription ($75/session)
Program & Subscription Details
Our monthly group subscription provides access to recurring therapy or skills-based group sessions at a bundled rate.
• Subscription fees cover group sessions only and do not include individual therapy, psychological testing, or other clinical services.
• Participation in a group does not establish an ongoing individual provider–client relationship outside of those sessions.
• All participants—whether current clients or new to Nowlogy™—must complete an introductory therapy session with the group facilitator before joining. This session helps determine whether the group is an appropriate fit and will best serve your needs. If the facilitator is in-network with your insurance, this session may be billed through your insurance plan.
• Subscriptions renew automatically on the 1st of each month unless canceled in advance.
• You may cancel at any time before your next billing cycle; partial refunds are not available for absences or unused sessions.
• Group therapy is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in crisis, please call 988 or go to your nearest emergency department.
• Insurance coverage: Subscription services are self-pay and may not be eligible for insurance reimbursement.
